I know that several of us have phones other than iPhones, and was hoping someone knew how to get a MB to communicate properly with a Samsung Galaxy S phone via USB. Ever since an update to the phone around December, the computer fails to recognize the phone (this is a common problem that neither Samsung nor Verizon has fixed). Mind you, I'm not even trying to get it to be a mass storage device in particular, I just want it to recognize the phone. I always get the "This disk is unreadable" prompt with an "ignore" and "eject" option.

Things I have tried:

1. Restart the phone.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Switch it to USB Debugging, switch it to mass storage device.
4. Some code in terminal that I found while searching. Worked once, never again.

Any proper feedback would be appreciated.

I have a Galaxy S with the same issue. I am pretty sure the disk is formatted in the phone so that the Mac cant read it.
