This issue started this morning on my M4 Mini which has been working great since I got it. At first, I thought it was a Bluetooth issue. So I tried plugging in a wired mouse. The same thing happens. My desktop becomes responsive and my mouse cursor disappears. I have to completely shut down and get the same thing after I sign into Sequoia. I tried reinstalling the OS through recovery mode but the same thing happened. I don't know what to do. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a fix?

Boot into Safe Mode, see if it's happening there. If it is - that didn't help, let us know.
If it does help, try just Apple menu > Restart & see if that cured it. If not, let us know.

Thanks. I figured it out. It was a combo of spaces and mouse/keyboard handoff being buggy. I turned them both off and it solved the problem.
