Hello all, this is my first post, so I apologize in advance for any etiquette breaches. This is my best guess for the appropriate forum for my questions.
Python2.5 and 2.6 were just installed by macports as dependencies, both of which were already present.
Q1) Do I now have 2 full installs of each version? If how would I remove the older version, not installed by macports?
Q2) When I run python from the command line the old version is run. How do I a: change the version that is run by default and b: select a non-default version at the cmd line?
If it helps:
OSX 10.6.2
Intel core 1 duo
4GB RAM
Any suggestions or criticisms humbly accepted.
Thanks
