Hi. I run a MacBook Pro (OS X) with Mail (version 4.6) and yesterday tried to send myself an email with some fairly large photo attachments (although I don;t think the message was much more than 1.5MB). Now though the account which I sent it from and too is totally stalled (and has the spinning 'in-progress' icon next to it permanently). I have access to a webmail (1and1.co.uk) for this account and have deleted the message wherever it was visible, in the inbox (but not totally downloaded) and sent items. However Mail is still stuck and won't function with that account at all. It is also slowing down every other operation on the mac.

The account is fine if I access it from my iPad so figure it's a problem specific to my computer.

PLEASE HELP! As you will be able to tell, I am not very technical so a simple solution would be appreciated!
THANK YOU :)
