It started when I tried to install a Rage 128 video card (from a B/W G3) into my Beige G3 running 10.2.8. It then began to freeze on startup. Well, after a little fenagaling, I was able to see that the issue was something to the effect of Keys being in the wrong order. So I reinstall (erase and reinstall), try again, and once again, the keys aren't happy. So, I removed the video card and once again tried to reinstall but now it freezes up during the reinstall process.
So anyway, why would the install freeze up on me and how can I combat this?
And once I can solve this problem, how can I get my Rage V.C. to run properly on my computer (as I haven't be able to find any drivers, assuming any exist).
On a side note, would just buying an 8G HD to install OSX onto be a better idea than partitioning my current HD and just use my current HD as a slave?
