Im loving my Mac & have been a PC for 20+ years.
Im a NooB here but have searched high & low (here & elsewhere) for answers.
All help is appreciated & may help save my mind & marriage (Im 12+ hours into this...)

I want to find the BEST (paid or free) ways to do the 3 things below.
Best to me means: have options I can play with to select quality, supports many/all file types, and is a 1 step solution.

1. Converting DVDs to Apple TV files (MP4). This is for Fair Use.

Currently: use MTR to get into VOBs & then Handbrake. a good, but 2 step solution. Also some of the output doesnt import to iTunes (I drag & drop, but it doesnt show up!) even though I have Apple TV presets in place. The same presets get me other output that works fine (confused!). Ive used RipIt, its fast but doesnt preserve chapters which is unacceptable for me.

Q: What is the best paid/free option for this? Id prefer a 1 step process, with a que, and need CSS ability.

2. Converting other video files (inc VOB, ISO, AVI, etc) into Apple TV (MP4):

Currently: using Handbrake, but again some output not accepted in iTunes.

Q: What is the best paid/free option for this? MUST preserve chapters (so I can skip between them when I want).

3. Pulling MP3 audio tracks from DVD or Video Files:

Currently: In the PC world I used the ImToo products. Handbrake unfortunately doesnt support this. I MUST be able to rip a DVD into seperate audio tracks, ie: My U2 live DVD turned into 18 MP3 audio tracks, not a single track thats 117 mins long.

Q: what is the best way to do this? Again, free or paid. 1 step process, dont want to import to QTPro or any other sideways thing. Just a 1 step solution.

For all of the above I have researched & used: Rip It, iSkysoft, Handbrake, MTR, FFmpeg, OSEx & a couple others. None of those combos has hit the sweet spot.

Please confirm the best path for this.
If Im coming off pushy its because Im missing my family movie night & trying to type this fast. :)

PLEASE HELP.
