just bought a mbox 2. I am working on a mac g-4 and when I open up pro tools and select a audio track I am not able to get input from the mbox to the audio track. I have cubase and m audiophile 2496 installed also. I need some help to record audio tracks. All I have ever done is midi and this is new to me although it has always been there to use. I also could never get sound out on my sound card even with powered speakers. is there something I need to add to my g-4???? looking for some answers:confused: ..getting desperate

things to check:

1. does the input you selected on the track match where you've got your mic or instrument plugged into the hardware?

2. is the track enabled for recording?

3. have you pushed the red record button on the transport control?
