Help! MBP 15 2012 or wait MBP 2013 for Editing Video

Hello guys, i have some question about MBP.now i use MBP 13" Mid 2010, when i editing use Final Cut Pro X
is very laggy. So i heard from another forum,they told me to change MBP 15" if want for editing.It is true??
N now i want buy New MBP,But i so confuse about Buy MBP 15" 2012 or 2013, can anyone give suggestions??
specially can upgrade n editing video , how about Retina for future ,it isn't need ?

Or you can buy a SSD it might help a better performance? :apple:
 
I got a refurb non-retina 15" MBP for a few reasons:
- Dual SSDs - one for boot and the other for media, much cheaper, too
- Quad core vs. dual core - shows up as eight processes w/hyperthreading
- 650M GPU instead of just integrated HD 4000
- Anti-glare screen
- Added 16GB RAM for $130 from Crucial

I've been very pleased with the performance, so far.

So if want performance buy non retina Mbp 15" ? Whats means dual ssd?
 
Dual SSD means two of them instead of just one. You could put two of the new M500 960GB SSDs inside, which you can't do with a Retina model. It's nice to have two drives for video editing.

So if you suggestion i wail until wwdc anounce the new non retina MBP 15inch or buy 2012 MBP 15 inch? stiil out 15 inch Non retina MBP?
 
Waiting or not waiting correlates to the immediacy of your needs, but I personally think Retina isn't the best choice for 2012 models as far as a video edit laptop goes.

I bet the next non-Retina (if one is offered) will be better than the 2012 model that they currently sell, and if you can wait, you may find it was worth the wait. If not, you will still be able to find a 15" refurbished 2012.

I have both a 13" and 15", both 2012, and I like the 15" (anti-glare) because of the much larger screen, and quad core instead of dual core CPU. I'm selling my 13" to a friend who's power needs are less intense than mine.

next will be have macbook 15 inch non retina ? because i heard from mar rumor it is only have macbook 13 inch only
