Help me and my iMac

My iMac Core Due 1.83 keeps shutting off and the power light blinks rapidly at about every 3 seconds. It happened twice when I was importing images in aperture. I'm thinking it could be a memory problem?? I dunno, I need assistance.

Well, is it covered under Applecare? If not do the following:

Get CoreDuoTemp to see if its a heat issue
Run Rember, to see if its a memory problem
If neither of these works, try resetting the PMU and the PRAM

Let me know when you have done/answered all of this.

It sounds like you do have a memory problem. Have you installed any new RAM recently? Are you sure your RAM is seated properly?

yeah I have...I ran apples memory test and it checked out fine. I guess I should evaluate it more.
