help me buy a used g4 laptop!

512 RAM, (256 top and bottom), 15", 1Ghz processor, 40 gig hard-drive, airport card, superdrive (burns and reads CD's and DVD's), purchased in March of 2003 (I'm not totally sure about the March part, but it was early in the year) I purchased apple care 3-year warranty, so there is about 6 months left.

Sometimes that hinge problem makes the screen go purple for a second (this is from dropping it.) It used to do it a lot more, but now it rarely ever does it. I just move the screen a little bit and it stops.

Plus, I need to buy a new battery for the laptop.

How much do you think I should offer?

well I dont' want anything new since I will be taking this on the road with me deejaying. I already have another laptop and would love to use this as a workhorse.
