How's it going everyone? I just got the 5c last week and have been loving it ever since coming from a galaxy s4. Upon receiving the phone I ordered a poetic atmosphere case based on numerous recommendations from this site and I really like it except for a few key things, 1) the rubber portion covering by the volume buttons is loose and exposes the white border of my 5c, 2) after only 48 hours I managed to crack the case simply trying to get my phone out!? Amazon was great about dealing with that issue and is sending me a full refund. I have decided to go with a different case and have narrowed it down to two cases.

1) http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-iP...TF8&colid=2KCS7VTAJOBRV&coliid=I310WZZJKUEXB2

And 2) http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-iP...85994152&sr=8-4&keywords=Tech+armor+iPhone+5c

P.S- I am very careful with my phones and have never dropped a phone (knocks on wood). I don't mind the thickness of the atmosphere case (assuming the flexprotect will be similar in weight and thickness) and appreciate the protection it adds, but it does feel like it adds some weight to the 5c. On the other hand, it would be nice to have a slimmer case but I'm worried about the exposed bottom of the slimprotect despite me being very careful with my phones.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your replies!

Tech armor makes great products but their cases are not that good. I do not recommend getting any of tech armors cases.
I recommend these:

What tech armor cases are you saying are bad? I've head nothing but praise (Amazon reviews) about the slimprotect for the iPhone 5/ 5s and the 5c version just came out recently so I feel like it should be a pretty good case. It certainly looks good. I'm just trying to decide if having the bottom open is going to bother me.

Help me choose between these two 5c cases

The case is a tight fit and buttons are hard to press. This is my opinion. Do you like the cases I recommended?

While I'm sure the cases you recommended are great, the first one covers the 5c a little too much for my liking and looks like it adds some bulk. The second one looks like it's made of a high gloss plastic and I've had cases like that before and they seem to scratch and look terrible after a week or so of use

I'm leaning more towards the second one as well based on the fact that I'm careful with my device and don't see myself having a problem with the bottom being exposed. I had an incipio feather case on my 4s and that was open as well and my phone was never damaged.

Trust me the tough armor is the case you are looking for. I think you will love it.

I ended up going with the slimprotect. First impressions are that I like it a lot. Feels just like the 5c without a case which I like.
