I have a predicament. I am going away in June, so i really do not want to buy a computer now, but i might be forced to. My computer just crashed and died on me, as happy as i am about that, its at a bad time because i dont want to buy something new and have it sit on my desk for two months. So after the summer, i am going to have to do some buying. I will just use my parents computers for the time being. I need a new monitor, and i will be going for the dell 20 inch widescreen. I figure i will be able o get it at around 400.
I dont do to much with the computer. I will do a little photoshop, a little video editing, a lot of web browsing and im. I am not sure if i will get
1. Ibook with external screen
2. powerbook with external screen.
3. Imac
I would not go with the mac mini because it by the time i am done with it, would be the same price as an imac, and would be less powerfull.
I know i dont need a powerbook, but i dont like the way the ibook feels. Is there any chance they are going to change this by the end of the summer? What do you thing i should do? I will have around 1500 to spend and i get the edu discount. It will be my first mac.
