Help me choose please!!!

I was going to buy the last year core i7 from macmall but they are gone! I need to decide what to buy now!

The reason that I'm leaning more to last year model is that I can use the Kanex XD adapter and use as a display! I have very little space on my bedroom

There's a last year model on the apple refurbished store

2.8GHz Intel Quad-Core i5 processor
4GB
27-inch
ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory

Should i get this vs this year base model?

Ps: I will use for browsing, web design, not heavy photoshop, many some flash and i want to use for around 2 or 3 years

Why get last years one? The newest one can handle tasks much more quicker and with a 27" screen there is more than enough resolution for your stuff. Not to mention that these are sandybrige processors here with much faster and better CPUs

Yes, for now. Eventually we will be able to use the Thunderbolt iMacs as displays...I hope!!

I already got the 2011 iMac! hope they release the stupid adapter because this display is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Kanex is working on an adapter, so hopefully your new fangled thunderbolt iMac won't go too long as JUST an amazing computer
