This is my first post on this board so I greet all of you, MacRumors inhabitants.

So I have an issue choosing between two macbook pro's.
One is 2.66 ghz which is aproximately 2-3 weeks old. It has 256 mb Vram and 4 Gb DDR3. On the other hand, 2.8 ghz which is 7 months old. It has 512mb vram, 4 Gb DDR3 and a replaceable battery. I'm gonna be using it all the way; Internet browsing, audio editing, a bit of gaming (sc2, d3, cod4) and what's not.

Now, I'm yet to decide which type of battery better fits my needs, but thats not the main issue. My main concern is regarding its hardware and level of exploitation. Both of them are in relatively similar price range, around $2k. But the more powerful one is obviously 6 months older, which is kind of an issue in case I think of selling it in a year or whenever else.

So basically the question is how big of a difference performence-wise is between this two specs and which battery is of more convenience for the majority of the users.

Appreciate your time and opinions.

Regards.
