Help me create my workspace!

Hey everyone,

So I figured I could get some great input here. I will be entering law school in the fall, so I am trying to get my work space all set up for the long hours I anticipate spending doing work. Right now I have a brand new 15' MBP, and an Ikea Galant desk. I figure most users on this forum share my appreciation for simple, clean, and function design. Anyone have any suggestions at all for shelving, lamps, etc that are going to look right at home next to my new MPB? I want to stay organized and functional. I need a comfortable desk chair as well!

Ikea stuff is tempting because of price and availability, but a room full of it does look a bit dull.

use as less stuff as possible, it will not only save your time, it will make it easier to carry around so that you're not chained to your worskpace at home. use the library, the park, the coffee shop, to read and study and you'll do better in school.
