I've had the same case (in white and smoke) and really liked it. opted for the newest leather case from apple last week. I really liked the slim design and still be able to protect it well. I liked using the phone buttons with a case on.

my dad's in the oil field down here in TX and he uses an otterbox case for his 5c. My bro in law who works in a similar field also uses an otterbox. Both have dropped theirs numerous of times and the case held it's own. personally I don't care for the look of the case but it works.
