Every case I consider, I read negative things about it-- the fit is bad, the buttons are stiff, too thick, too slippery, etc...
I just want a slim, minimalist case that is reliable. This is my list of possibilities:
- Apple leather
- Apple silicone
- Caudabe sheath
- Spigen liquid air
- Spigen thin fit
Any one of these or other recommendations?

I've got the Apple leather case and can't find any faults with it aside from cost, same may be true for the silicon one, truth is there's no perfect case out there, it all depends on what you want out of it.

In my experience if you've had a case from a specific company before and you were happy with it then chances are their new version is going to suit you.

Do you want drop protection at all, or just scratch protection?

Do you want lay on the table design for front, back or both?

Do you prefer the buttons exposed or covered?

Is the phone too wide with most Cases (causing fatigue in your hand) & therefore would you prefer a frameless case design (ie. no side coverage)?

Does a front lip annoy you when performing gestures from the top/bottom/left/right edges?

When the 12 Pro first came out, I ordered about a dozen cases from Amazon and settled on this one: (Caseology Nano Pop)

While not the thinnest case out there, it was acceptable. What I really like about the case is the feel of the material it's made of -- it's grippy, yet not too grippy. The buttons are clicky, and it works well with wireless charging. The corners are substantial enough to provide at least some protection during a fall.

I did however get case envy after seeing the California Poppy leather Apple case, and purchased one of those. The Apple case is now my daily driver, but the Caseology is what I'll put on when I think I might abuse the phone (going on a hike, bike ride, etc)

A little bit of drop protection would be nice, but i don't need a ton.
I would like a lip to protect the screen, but I prefer open bottom designs so swiping up is easy.
I like exposed buttons more, but as long as they're tactile I don't mind if they're covered.
I'm coming from a 7, so I want a pretty slim case so it's not too big in the hand.

I have the Apple leather on my 7 currently and it's held up great for being two years old. Unfortunately, I've heard the leather cases for the 12 have corner issues.

I've heard of the issues some people have had with the corners, can't say it's happened here actually think it's a much better case than the Apple leather case I had for my 11 Pro Max.

Maybe 'frameless' cases are your thing?

This one's on the bulky side...

This one's thinner...

& then you've got your cheaper options on Amazon with a similar design, but maybe not as sleek/sturdy...

There are lots of decent cases out there for under £50. I am liking the look of the Casetify cases and the many designs and customisations available. They seem to have really good reviews and feedback from those who have them too.

The Caudabe and Spigen cases are pretty good also. Not fussed on Apples own cases personally.

One of these just got delivered today:

It took forever to get to me from Sweden, with USPS and international shipping in general being dog a$$ slow these days, but I'm quite impressed. The edges of the majority of the case are lower than the screen, making swipes super easy. The outer corners that hold the case to the phone act as stand-offs to keep the screen off of a table if flipped over. The button areas are cutouts, eliminating the issue with button feel. The cork itself is super grippy and comfortable to hold. And it's extremely thin, making it almost unnoticeable as far as bulk is concerned.

I'm torn now between this and the Apple Leather case as to which is my favorite.

If anyone wants pictures of the 15:21, let me know.

Pictures please. I’ve looked at that case and thought it would be nice to handle. So how long did it take you to get it?

Has anyone tried tech21's Evo Slim case? It looks nice but I haven't seen any reviews or photos.
