is there anyway i can retrieve this file?
maybe through an iFile directory or a program on the computer?
its an iphone 4 by the way.

thanks

As you can see here

Code:
 http://www.apple.com/iphone/iphone-4/specs.html

The iPhone 4 doesn't support PNG files. You need tiff, jpeg or gif

iPhone, iPod touch and iPad do support PNG files. I've just emailed a PNG to myself and picked it up in the Mail app on each of these devices and the image shows just fine inline in the email itself.

I guess Apple needs to update that tech specs page, as PNG is definitely supported.

RTP.

Evidently they must.

OP - maybe the image is becoming corrupt in the sending process idk
