Dear friends, help!
I have a computer iMac 27 2011. It turns on and works fine, but I have a problem: for some reason it does not accept the name, although I know the password. How can I find out the name that I need to enter in the username field? The computer doesn't accept my real name.

For example: open a terminal. type whoami and press return. The output is the current user name.

Or from Terminal: ls /Users

Should see the names/IDs of the accounts on the machine.

OR: Finder > Go > Go to folder... enter /Users

OR: Settings > Users Groups, will see accounts and privileges levels.
