I have a MBP that has the incredibly annoying high-pitched buzz on the left side of the keyboard. This buzz if quickly alleviated by 1) having the iSight camera on the entire time or 2) QuietMBP. But to have to use another program to fix this kind of problem is unacceptable, IMO.

Three weeks ago I went into the genius bar and told them about the high-pitched buzz. The genius took my MBP into the "quiet room" and came back telling me, "All computers have some sound coming from them. Your MBP's sounds are 'to specs.'"

I looked at him with the expression of, "You're kidding, right?"

Ever since school started, and I have been using QuietMBP, I've forgotten my MBP problems until i've noticed that the chasis of my MBP is loose and bent in some areas (pictures later), and this website (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303365). I'm planning on going to the genius bar again tomorrow. Do you have any tips/ideas as to how I can get the genius to admit this faulty MBP?

thanks

Every since Apple put that page out, I haven't heard of any denials to repair the whine.
