I am new to macbook os .so I got little confusion on restoring/reformatting macbook to os x mavericks .
My question is does restoring deletes all the partitions i had created?
I have created 4 partition in my macbook
3 partition with 100gb
and 1 partition(macintosh hd) i.e. where os x is installed with 200 gb
so my question is can i only restore macintosh hd for clean installing os x??? without loosing datas on other drives

Thanks in advance.

Yes, as long as you point the installer to Macintosh HD for the install, data on the other partitions will be left alone.
