it appears that i have a conundrum. today while using my phone it began to act slow. then as i went to open my text message menu my phone froze all together. however i was still able to shut it off with the power button. once i turned the power off, the shut down screen stayed on for almost ten minutes. at which time i had to reset it with holding down the home key and the power button. once the phone shut off i went to turn it back on. it white apple appeared on the screen for approximately thirty seconds and then it shut off.

ive tried plugging it into a charger and my computer and again the white apple appears and then it just shuts off.

has anyone ever had this happen? and if so how do you fix it? or is it a problem that isnt fixable at all?

Hook it up to your computer and keep rebooting (to get into DFU) the iPhone until iTunes picks it up, then restore.
