"Town"
So I was playing around with my Voice control settings to see if I could derive any functionality at all, in vain turns out, and decided to try the "Speak Alerts" or whatever it's called. Anyway, it's really annoying so I turned it off, only it won't stop. I've toggled the checkbox on and off and it won't stop. If I hear Alex say "Attention" one more time I'm deleting every .plist file with the word "voice" in the title. I'm sure that's not a good idea but he needs to die. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Tried it.

Haha! I'll get on that, it only takes a few hours to go back to leopard and only an hour to get SL then about a day to get back all of my settings back.

I know this isn't the solution, but you don't have to install Leopard and then install Snow Leopard. If you give up and have to reinstall, just use your Snow Leopard disk
