Help Me!!!!, Lost My Disc Drive

ok when i opened up my macintosh hard ddrive thingy on the desk top i had a cd in there because i was ripping it to my dick and i grabbed the entire dic and it went away, not in the trash just not ony my desktop. Can i retrieve to have it back on the little side viewer when i open up my hard drive.
 
Log out, then log back in...

Dragging HDs to the trash unmounts them.

Edit: But, I have to agree with FuzzyBallz also -- we're not here to help you solve your lack of Viagra problem. ;)

i mean i just tried draggin the disc tot he itunes folder and everything went BYe bye, but really can i get it back? or do i have to reset my ****
 
Well look...If you can get into the Mac OS, you HAVE a disc drive. Give us MORE details.


Are you talking about your HARD DRIVE or your CD DRIVE?
 
ok the disc drive works everythign functions properly. when i pop in the disc it appers on the desktop. my issue is when i open up macintosh HD on the left hand panel where you see network, mac hd, desktop all those things the icon for my disc drive is missing, i tried dragging the disc somewhere and it hasnt shown back up, when i tried it it crumpled up liek something was being thrown away. I just want to restore the icon on that side panel

Well, you know it only shows up when a CD is in the drive, right?
