i have 2 questions..if u can answer any of them i salute u and thanx

ayt first question:what is a good camcorder to record a video 30 min to 1 hr
must be compatible w/ my macbook. a cheap one not for a professional

2nd: if i have done making the movie how would i put subtitles in it. and background music..will imovie have it all? i havent tried imovie yet

this isn't for a professional.this is for fun =)

iMovie will do what you're looking for.

As for camcorders, without knowing a price range, I can't make any recommendations. But from what you sound like, it would probably be best to just head to Best Buy or another store like that and look for yourself. To be honest, at small prices ($200-$400), the cameras are almost all the same in terms of what kind of video you can get out of the thing.

I have a Sony Mini DV handycam DCR-HC21 that produces great images for like 200- 299$.
