All of my CDs where individually fed into my iMac a few years back, into iTunes in Windows 7 via BootCamp. Thinking about getting rid of the iMac and would like to copy all my music files from Win7 on the iMac to a Windows 10 computer. I do not want to go through the CD thing again.

Can someone tell me the file name and location in iTunes on my iMac running Win7 that I need to copy. Also where that copied file should be pasted in iTunes on Win10. I know this should be simple but do not want to mess it up.

Your assistance would be very helpful.

This PC -> C drive -> Users -> your name -> Music -> iTunes

That whole folder contains every piece of music that you fed into iTunes if you let iTunes consolidate your imported music.

You should right-click that iTunes folder in Windows Explorer and check up on the size to see if it indeed matches your entire music library.

You could also try opening the iTunes Preferences and see on the Advanced tab where iTunes puts its library and contents.

If you copy all your folders in the Users/your name/Music folder, and then put everything right back in the matching spot on your Windows 10 computer - then iTunes locates everything. Also, I don't know if you have ever authorized your computer with iTunes? If you have then de-authorize because you might not be able to authorize the new computer. Copying the whole iTunes folder over makes sure that you don't lose that authorization (I hope)

The various files called "iTunes Library.itl" and "iTunes Library.xml" and most everything else keeps track of where you put your music. That's why I recommend making a copy/backup of that whole folder called "iTunes" inside your Music folder on your Windows 7 installation. If everything fails you still have your CD's to rely on ;) which isn't fun to re-import. It's actually kind of a silly and extremely tedious process.
