I hope someone can help me out here.
I have a WD 1TB external that I used to use as a back up drive for my previous MBP. The back up folder takes up about 450GB
Now, I would like to move this to a 500GB disk I have and store it and use the 1TB for my new MBP TM backup, but when I try to copy I get a warning saying ownership is not enabled.
I´ve tried to enable it, but not sure how it´s done.
So far I have tried using the "get Info" window, but what ever I do, it dosen´t change the permission on the disk.
It´s now set to read/write for everyone.
Can I use Disk utility for this, or is it some other way?
Problem solved, not sure how. I guess a restart did the trick
