Hi,

I've recently installed AutoCAD 2011 and noticed that it created the following folders in directories that I don't want to pollute:

1) /Users/"username"/Autodesk(/ApplicationAddIns)
2) /Users/"username"/Documents/Autodesk(/Autosave)

Any idea how I can make it move the folders or move them manually.

Thanks.

I really don't have a clue how to move 1) and I don't really understand why AutoCAD creates it, since I haven't installed any add-ins!?

When I try to change the path for annoyance 2) in "Application Preferences/Application/Automatic Save Location", AutoCAD accepts the path change, but when I relaunch it, it recreates the autosave folder in my documents folder!?

There for me to, and I have uninstalled autocad and moved to an alternative. In afraid I don't know of a way.

Draftsight. It's free and works just like Autocad. However it can only do 2D.
