Hi everyone, I am thinking about to buy a eMac or PowerMac 2.0......
And this guy " http://cgi.ebay.com/Latest-Model-Ap...ryZ80041QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem " want to sell me for $900. I think it's a reasonable price. And eMac is much much cheaper than the PM, but it can least longer.......
OR should I just buy the PowerMac 2.0 connect to my dell monitor from my pc.
Please give me some suggestion.
Thank you!

Suggestion --- he's nuts. US$900 is higher than new price...

This machine refurbished from Apple with a warranty is US$639 with free shipping

He wants you to contact off eBay -- BAAADD sign, because you will not be protected,, and he can sell the same machine to a dozen people then b%^^&r off. This might also be a hijacked eBay account.

Look, here is my #1 suggestion.

Please PLEASE don't even consider making a deal on eBay of off, until you have educated yourself thoroughly on the product, the available prices, and the danger signs of scammers and fraud artists on eBay (and craigslist and sadly even in forum marketplaces like this.)

If you are going to pick it up locally and pay for it then, then you cannot be scammed as long as you see it working. I'd go down there with $700 or whatever you think it is worth, and make a take it or leave it offer of about $650 pointing out that is what you can get it for at the apple store.

Hi, thank you for everyone's help.
But I thought if I buy those refurnish eMac from apple online store then I can't add the bluetooth function and upgrade HD to 160GB because the HD size on those refurnish one is 80GB only and no bluetooth.... And the guy told me I can come over to his place to check out the eMac.....
