all my pictures are not in order

they are all in march

how can i put all photo in order

if i took a picture in april 2006 can iphoto put the picture in the right month and day

today is april and all my picture are in march and how can i make them go to the right day or time or month

any here can help me on iphoto

i got like 1million pictures

they been taking from 1986 to 2007

Your camera has to put the correct date and time in the EXIF info in the file. If this has not been done iPhoto will not manage to guess the correct date.

Save a picture from where? This would not normally add any EXIF data to the image so would be of no help.

You may be able to hand date them at least by year or whatever your patience level and or memory allows.

Highlight a group of photos, in the Menu bar click "Batch Change" and set the date.
