i'll just post this there..

so i have microsoft office on my mac an I wanted to change the icon for my dock. I downloaded a couple from some place an went about what i have always done which is get info an click an paste. I've changed folders before but this is not working. I get the preview icon on my dock instead of the actual icon.. any advice?

After you changed the icon for the app, did you drag it off the dock and then drag it back on?

Go to Applications\Office 2008\

Get Info for each app and then copy paste the icon to the little icon at the top of the Get Info window.

After you finish that, restart the dock, or drag the apps off the dock - then back on.
