Help me pick a MB Pro for my daughter

Daughter is going to college for Media and Communications. Will be using Adobe Creative Suite heavily, particularly Premier Pro. College recommend for this year for her program was 16" M3 Pro 12 core, 36GB RAM, 18 Core GPU.

Which would you buy for her?

She could probably get by on any late model M-processor, or even late model intel processors. Looks like the min spec for Creative suite is Monterey. I'd certainly get at least an M1 or M2 just for the future software support.

If not, let HER buy what she wants (as a student), and then re-imburse her.
Will save you about 10%.

One other thought...
She's gonna get tired lugging a 16" MBP around with her.
And having enough room to set it up in class.

How about a well-equipped 14" MBP, AND a 27" 4k display for the dorm room?
