I want to sell my iBook G4 and purchase a new iMac. I was going to price it based on what they were selling for on eBay but I only found a couple up for auction. Note: I'm not selling the computer on here, only using your input to sell it to someone at my school...unless I get a really great offer.

iBook G4
14"
1.2 GHz
512 MB
60 GB Harddrive
Edit: Superdrive DVD+-RW
Airport Express
Bluetooth
iLife '05
OS X 10.3

Other notes:
Some screen imperfections but nothing noticeable during use. Only when unit is looked at from side angle. No dead pixels.
Battery lasts 2.5 - 3 Hours

I'm thinking $800-900...

I guess that's about it?
Thanks for your help!

Seems like you should ask this in marketplace, you need to wait till you have 100 posts before you can post in there.

To answer your feeler:

The battery being half dead and the screen issue does dent the value a little bit but on ebay you will get at least $800 - 900 heck with a bit of luck some fool will even pay $1000 - 1200 for it.

You can check eBay's completed listings box and see what's been sold in the past few weeks.

I wouldn't pay more than $700 for a 1.2 G4 iBook. Not with the Intel MacBook on the horizon for a few hundred more. But get what you can.
