hello
i buyed a mac pro 1.1 2x intel xeon 2gb ram 500 gb hdd and 7300 gt for 74$
it has windows on it,but it wont boot any apple os install.. it boots for 1 min then it show the restricted sign !
i tried leopard and snow leopard.
what im i doing wrong ?

im using a windows machine with transmac and restore with disk image to make bootable usb stick..

Assuming it didn't come with the original instal DVD the easiest way is to order 10.6 DVD from Apple. Then you can either use the DVD or make a USB stick from it with Disk Utility.

TransMac is tricky and won't work in all cases.

If the 10.6 DVD/ stick won't work problem is elsewhere.

I wonder why original seller didn't have OS X installed? Sounds strange...

i got a retail dvd from a friend,made a usb thumb to boot..and its installed :D right now its upgrading to lion

I'm curious do you have some software or peripheral that requires Lion?

If not you might want to reconsider because it is widely regarded as one of the worst OS X versions apple has released...
 
no,but that is the latest os for my mac.. i cant go past lion! i only have 2 gb ram.. should i use other os ?
