I received an email with 5 pages which are .jgp files. I can download them, but how do I save them and print them too?

I really feel dumb here! On Windows, it seemed easy. I am at a loss.

Thanks

can you view the images in Mail? if so the quickest & easiest way is to just drag them to the desktop and file them away from there

Ok, I can drag them to the desktop, but I created a folder in Documents and put them in that. I need to print them. I don't see an option for printing anywhere on the document window or if I right click

Select all of them and drag them to the preview icon in your dock. Preview is the os x equavalent to ms picture viewer. Then press command and p and select the printer you want to print from.

open them (in preview), go to file>print...

I can't. There is no option for that.

I see the red, yellow, green on top left then I see the -+ magnifying glasses, a hand, A, a lasso type option, pencil, 4 view options and a search option.

menu bar top of the screen? (are you opening in fullscreen?)
bring your cursor to the top, you'll see the menubar.
go to File (from the left: Apple logo, Preview, File).

click on File, scroll down to Print.

Seriously, get a book on using OS X, get a tutor...just something to get you started...

good luck!

I don't see any preview icon

I was able to print them by right clicking and going to Open with and then HP Scan 3. Then I was able to print from there. Isn't there an easier way?

really, my mom can do this. double-click on one photo. it will open in the app Preview (you'll see the app name next to the apple in the menu bar).

while in Preview, go to File>Print.

please get some tutoring, or a book; if you can go to an apple store, you can get some help there...

I am not home now, but I think I know what you mean. I am used to the File>print options that are within the window for that file.

Seriously, thanks!:p

yes your obviously new to OSX so thats a normal question, the window itself on OSX is just that a window, the bar on the top of your desk top changes based on the windows thats the "active" or front window, so there is where you will find the menus your used to being attached to the program windows when you were using windows OS

MAC 101

This might be handed for you in the begining

You should check out Apple One to One, 1 session would probably help you a ton!
