Help me set up a secure wireless network

So explain to me as you would to a complete moron how to create a wireless network with WEP encryption. I have an iMac running Leopard and my router is a D-Link DI-524. Baby steps please, I have no freaking clue what I'm doing.

that's exactly how you'll do it.

to get to your router page, type http://192.168.0.1

if that doesn't work, try variations on the 0.1 like 1.1, 2.1, etc

also, you want to be connected to the router via ethernet whilst performing this.

WEP encryption can be cracked in under 2 minutes. It doesn't matter how strong your password is, 2 minutes is all it takes.

Use WPA, WPA2 if you can.
