hullo all. i have an HP psc1315xi AiO printer that has started to become... what's the word... useless! basically, i just refilled its ink, but printouts still come out streaked. cleaning the printheads does not seem to work (using the hp software). help?

Did you add new print cartridges or just refill them with one of those kits? Also did you buy HP branded ink or some generic stuff?

I've had many a problem with cheap, non-OEM ink cartridges and streaking/leaking. If you did buy the HP branded stuff, you might want to return the cartridges, as they sound like they are defective.

i have the original print cartridges, but i did not refill them myself. i also just cleaned the contact area- the gold dots- and i printed a test document, which is alright but still streaked; it happened to not print in the area that is always streaked.
