I've decided to start my own little on-site computer repair/maintenance/1-on-1 training business. I'm about to start my website for said business, but I can't think of a clever name. I want to stress that they're not going to be dealing with a corporation or a large business that doesn't care, but with an individual who is qualified and who will be on call for future problems. I want to seem more approachable than a business like 1800-RENT-A-GEEK - I suppose I don't want to seem like a business at all
.
In Austin there's a Mac repairman that refers to himself as 'The Wizard of Austin'. It's a cute little gimmick that makes him more approachable and reinforces that he knows what he's doing. I'll be operating out of New York City, so I suppose I could be a 'Wizard' as well, but I don't really fancy that name for myself
.
Some things to think about (might help with thinking up names):
My name: Emerson
City I'll be operating in: New York, New York
I'll be helping with Macs and PCs
It will be on-site, so I could include that in the name, perhaps?
Thanks for the input guys and girls!
