help me to find mini hd recorder

well ive been searching for a good mini tv recorder so can you help me
wich one i buy

- i want mini tv recorder that has a good qulity ( like HD )
- i want mini TvR that work without useing computers or laptop(wich mean i can record to my friends home without bring my own pc/laptop)



if all this are impossibal so dont just leave without saying anything
just give me your opinion about any mini (dvr tvr or anything) to buy ^_^

The combination of a MacBook+EyeTV will be smaller than just about any standalone TVR on the market.

There is none. What format records in HD that is for consumers?? None.

Just for clarification: The Extreme PMP COWON A3 records the video from the source in either S-Video or Component video. It does not record the digital source signal.

at least it record from video out and s-video that why i want it
