Help me to Shift OS 10.5.8 to 10.8 Lion in Imac

I have imac with
Processor: 2.4 GHz Inel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Startup Disk: Imac System HD
with 2 partitions of HD.
1-for System OS 10.5.8
2- for Storage Data

I want to update New version of OS only 1-Partition, Is it possible to update for this imac.

Sounds like your iMac is capable of running Mountain Lion. Is it a mid 2007 or later?
As for partitions, I don't know if you will have to make your HD a single partition before upgrading or after you upgrade, but it is possible with Disk Utility.
