I was going to buy a pack of cheaper silicone bands for my wife who has an Ultra 1 and my daughter who we just bought a series 11 46mm.

A couple packs I saw on Amazon have confusing sizes.

One pack says (38mm/40mm/41mm/42mm(Series 11 10). So says series 11 but does NOT say 46mm.

The other pack says (44mm/45mm/46mm/49mm/42mm(Series 3 2 1). So it does say 46mm but does not say series 11. Although I assume the 49mm is for the ultra either way.

Sorry for the probably obvious question. But I am new to buying bands. I just used the trail Velcro band my ultra 2 came with.

Thank you in advance.

This one (38mm/40mm/41mm/42mm(Series 11 10) means the smaller band size for the Apple Watch. The screen sizes increased some during a generation upgrade but the bands were still compatible.

I'm thinking this one (44mm/45mm/46mm/49mm/42mm(Series 3 2 1) means Ultra only since the Ultra has had 1,2,3 series so far.

I don’t think this answer is correct.

The confusion began when Apple introduced the smaller 42 mm watch with Series 10 — the same size that had previously been used for the larger models from Series 1 to Series 3.

Some time ago, I created a chart to help clarify band compatibility. I hope it’s helpful.

The Ultra and Series 11 (46 mm) share the same band size.

Thanks for clarifying!
