I have an iPhone 6, 5s and a iPad rMini. I got the iphone 6 configured how I like it and then did a backup on iTunes. I then wiped the 5s, which is a totally different number and restored it using the backup from the ip6. I was sitting on the couch and received a call. ALL three devices rang when person was calling my ip6. I answered the call on my 5s and was able to carry the conversation. I picked up the ip6 and was able to move the conversation to that. How is this possible?

That is the continuity feature and works because those devices are all sharing the same iCloud account. Go to the FaceTime settings and turn off iPhone Cellular calls to turn this feature off.
