Hello everybody, I have just bought an Apple Watch series 4 GPS, very nice, but I do not understand how handoff WiFi calling works: if I am at home (I live in a 2 floor house) and I go to the garden outside, for a few seconds I leave WiFi connection and I keep back when I have reached the garden. This disconnection and re-connection to my WiFi network makes my Apple Watch loose WiFi call (I mean calls via iPhone) capabilities, (but not FaceTime calling, which keeps working). This happens if I leave my iPhone inside the house, I.e. on the 2nd floor, loosing Bluetooth and WiFi connections with the watch. But what I do not understand is that the iPad I own can make calls via handoff just as WiFi network is the same of my iPhone, even if I shut it off and power back again. The Apple Watch instead, loosing WiFi and Bluetooth and connecting to the WiFi again, cannot make or receive calls from iPhone, only FaceTime works.
Am I missing something or WiFi handoff calls use different connection from I.e. an iPad? Is there a soluction?
Thanks, Michele - Parma - Italy
