I'm highly considering selling my TB Display and MBP but need some advice.

  1. Should I sell it with the OCZ Vertex 3 SSD or 750GB 7200RPM HDD?
  2. Should I sell it with 4GB or 8GB RAM?
  3. I bought it in May 2011, should I buy AppleCare for it before I sell?
  4. What's it worth?

Here are my factory specs;

15-inch (Early 2011)
2.3GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
750GB 7200-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5
Hi-Res Anti-Glare Screen
Built-in battery (7 hours)2

Lastly, what is the average sell price of a used TB Display?

a refurbished TB display sells for about 849 from apple, obviously that comes with the same warranty as a new one, so keep that in mind when picking your price

and the MBP with those specs sells for 1659.00 also with Apples full waranty

for me i would say 700 for the display and 1500 for the MBP would be fair asking prices

Sweet site thanks! It says $1770 and doesnt even give me the option for the Hi-Res AntiGlare Display :D

I would not trust that estimate. However, hopefully you can find someone who will pay that much.
Everytime I have used Mac2Sell i Find the estimate to be quite a lot more than people are willing to pay for my mac.

Just thought you should be warned!

Check Mac2Sell, eBay, or Amazon for prices of equivalent models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge.

You can probably get $1600-1700 for it with 8 GB of RAM. The higher resolution/anti-glare screen helps, as well as your being able to say it is the "upgraded" 2.3 GHz.

You're probably better off selling the SSD separately. I wouldn't bother with Applecare - you'll get a fraction of the price back.
