Help me with a handsfree solution

So I connect my iPhone to my car stereo via Aux cable. I want to keep the hardwired Aux cable as I feel bluetooth just doesn't sound as good for music. However, I am needing a handsfree solution for phone calls. I have a bluetooth ear piece, but I'm really not a fan of having something in my ear all the time, and don't want to fool with trying to find it while driving. I've tried using the iPhone mic, but people tell me they can't hear me (when the phone is in the car dock). So I need a solution. Any advice?
