Help me with a keyboard shortcut

Forgive me I am a dummy on this stuff. I have to do a ton of text annotating in preview. I use the mouse to create new text boxes however it shows me the shortcut below but I can't figure it out. Am I supposed to press shift+6+command+T? It doesn't work.
