hi everyone.
i have an ipod touch 1G with the firmwire 1.1.5
and my problem is that i can not see lyrics.
1st) What i need to do?
I've heard about some apps (with about 20 dollars cost) that came with the v1.1.3 but i cant find them now.

2nd) If i upgrade to v2.2 (with about 9 euros cost), will i be able to see lyrics on my touch?

PS. I don't want to jailbreak my ipod.
Thanks in advance.

If you upgrade to 2.2 you'll get 'em.

Lyrics have been available since version 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, I think. If you have them stored in iTunes, they will be on the Touch. Just tap the screen in the middle when playing a song.

It was 1.1.3, aka the "January 2008 Software Upgrade". You had to pay $20 for it to add Mail, Weather, Stocks, Maps and Notes, as well as lyrics, a redesigned dock (it was changed to the iPhone-like 'mesh' instead of the Leopard-esque glass shelf), and the ability to move around icons on the home screen.

If you waited 5 months until 2.0 came out, Apple ended up bundling the JSU with 2.0 anyway, so you could get the five apps, the added functionality, plus the App Store and all the other 2.0 features for only $9.99.
