I'm going to give up the ghost on my 7 year old 5k Retina 27 inch iMac and replace it using my already owned M1 Macbook Air and my newly ordered Apple Studio Display & matching touch ID keyboard / trackpad. I guess the real issue is what I should use as a dock. I see the new Studio Display can power the Macbook and has 3 USB-C ports of its own but I guess I need quite a few USB-A ports as currently I have 4 external hard drives connected (3 + a synology.) I also would like (I think?) the dock to somehow act as a stand or holder for the Macbook Air so it doesn't look like it just sitting on the desk / taking up space? Also should I have an ethernet port on the dock, I do on my iMac today but I also have quality Wifi 6 very near the desk so might not be that big a deal?

Recommendations for a dock etc.?

Thanks!
