Help me with my wireless Mighty Mouse

My wireless Mighty Mouse (6 months old) has started to rub the paint off on my desk. So I got a mouse pad. It wont work worth a crap on the mousepad. What gives? Anyone else have this problem? Do you think its a faulty mouse?

Doubtful. If it works on your desk but not the mousepad, my guess would be the mousepad. I'd try a different mousepad first. If you're getting the same problems, then it's the mouse itself.
