iPod touch Help Me!

I bought an ipod touch about three weeks ago and it is the best ipod iver ever had and one of the best gadgets ive ever had BUT. Starting on monday the 29th some weird things started to happen:
1: the screen started to flicker for no aparrent reason and it was getting really annoying.
2: the touch screen would stop working but then start to work again.

Now my ipod touch is completely out of commision it does not work at all and i have done the restore thing and that did not work i am very sad!
If anybody can help me or giv advice id apreciate it.

I'd hate to state the obvious, but what you have there is a broken iPod. Go take it back and exchange it for a new one. If you ordered it online from the Apple Store, you can exchange it at any Apple Store. If you ordered it from some other site, fallow that site's return policy.

Before you return the iPod to the Apple Store:

1) Restoring is always a good idea
2) Hold the Home and Sleep Button for 6 secs. See if the TurnOff prompt turns on.

If these things aren't working... return immediately!
